YOUR MISSION

As a D2M Pole A Team Leader you are directly supporting the engineering, supply chain & production teams. Your mains mission will be:

  • Technical management to:
    • Ensure that any new BUS, PLD or SL design will integrate AIT flow constraints.
    • Ensure that any new BUS, PLD or SL design will facilitate maximum reuse of existing FAL Lines from a mechanical point of view and test point of view.
    • Design and Deliver production assembly lines for any new product.
    • Deliver in due time well configurated Nominal and Repair Routing.
    • Deliver and Provide support post-delivery production team of all MGSE.
    • Specify/Develop all tests relative to PLD for all projects.
    • Manage anomalies issued from any production line.
    • Coordinate all assembly/test specific instrumentation activities relative to the support of Qualification Campaign.
  • Team and processes management to:
    • Ensure appropriate Pole A Team sizing (currently 5 people + subcontracted WPs) with workload.
    • Ensure Yearly Interview/plan training of the team.
    • Ensure coaching of any newcomer.
    • Contribute to process improvement (efficiency increase, development lead-time reduction for new 3PS).

 

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Manage and organize/develop the team specialized on Mechanical/Thermal Assembly and Payload Integration and Test.
  • Provide appropriate support in case of Production blocking anomaly.
  • Coordinate with D2M Technical & Process manager for improvement proposal and implementation.
  • Ensure correct implementation of D2M defined process by the team.
  • Contribute to bid proposal in coordination with D2M Costing manager.
  • Reporting to the Head of Design to manufacturing team.
  • Position will be located in Toulouse (France) and requires international travels.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least 10-15 years of experience:
  • in Space AIT Qualification and Production assembly and test process (Mecha and RF as a minimum)
  • in management of a skilled engineering team
  • in configuration management (Product versus project customization)
  • Capability to challenge SL design solution by alternate solution to ease the production.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with several organization (Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance, HR)
  • Clearly demonstrate flexibility and self-discipline to plan/accomplish objectives while multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • Experience in serial production will be a plus.
  • Experience in Optical/Radar technology will be a plus.
  • Negotiation level in English.
